Magic Sports has been a game-changer in how we run and grow the league.

Kerry Dennis
Founder, Flyt Netball
The league
Flyt Netball officially launched in November 2025, starting with just 14 teams in Northwich. Since then, the league has grown rapidly, reaching 65 teams and approximately 580 players in just a few months. The league is currently run by a single organiser, supported by 11 umpires.
Built with ambitions to expand across multiple regions, Kerry Dennis needed a platform that would support growth from day one while maintaining a professional experience for players, teams, and officials.
The challenge
Before launch, one of the biggest concerns was managing ongoing payments and ensuring teams could pay effortlessly, creating a smooth and stress-free experience for everyone involved.
Managing fixtures, rearranging games, and communicating changes quickly and clearly were also expected to become significant challenges as the league grew.
Launching a new brand brought additional pressure.
“There was a real fear of launching and not being able to follow through on the brand and level of service I wanted to provide.”
Without a dedicated system in place, manual processes would have introduced significant time constraints, increased the risk of errors, and ultimately limited the league’s ability to scale at the pace it has achieved.
Our solution
From the outset, Flyt Netball recognised that launching a multi-location league operation without a dedicated management system simply wasn’t realistic.
“I knew I couldn’t launch a brand with the goal of growing across multiple regions without a system to support it.”
What stood out most about Magic Sports was the platform’s usability and automation capabilities. Features such as automated payment emails, fixture reminders, and self-service payment options removed a huge amount of manual work and allowed teams to manage themselves more effectively.
For Flyt Netball, these automations have helped deliver a more professional experience while creating the foundations needed for long-term growth.
Setup and launch
Getting started with Magic Sports was straightforward. The initial setup, learning the platform and launching the first league took approximately one week, and once the first league was configured, the system quickly became self-explanatory.
“It was really easy and the support from Mark has been great!”
Players responded positively to the platform, particularly when shown how it would simplify registrations, payments and ongoing league management. Officials and players have experienced very few issues using the system, while fixture reminders and automated communications have significantly reduced the day-to-day administration burden.
The turning point came immediately after gaining access to the platform.
“The moment I gained access and started exploring Magic Sports, I knew it was exactly what was needed to launch the business and begin developing leagues!”
The results
Since launching with Magic Sports, Flyt Netball estimates that the platform saves 3–4 hours of admin every week. Automation has dramatically reduced the amount of manual work required, particularly around debt chasing, payment reminders, and end-of-season administration.
The impact on growth has been even more significant.
Flyt Netball recorded 65 team registrations within the first three months of operation and now supports 580+ active players across its leagues. The platform’s automation and usability have allowed the business to launch smoothly while continuing to expand without becoming overwhelmed by administration.
Payments have also become easier to manage, with fewer issues than expected and significantly less manual intervention required.
The impact
For Flyt Netball, the biggest change has been confidence.
“I am happy with Magic Sports and how it will support the growth of Flyt Netball moving forwards.”
Although always ambitious, having a well-developed product supporting operations has provided additional confidence that the business can scale successfully across multiple locations.
Perhaps the clearest endorsement came when reflecting on what life without a system would have looked like.
“Not at all, I have no doubt that I would have given up by this point.”
